Employee Benefits:

Lafayette School District offers a generous benefit program.  This Summary provides information about the insurance plans offered to eligible employees.

Medical Benefits

  • The District will pay 100% of the Kaiser Single DHMO 1000 Plan, 65% of the Two Party and 65% of the Family premiums.
  • For the Anthem HMO and PPO plans as well as the Kaiser $15 HMO plan, the District will pay 100% of the Kaiser Single DHMO 1000 Plan, 65% of the Two Party and 65% of the Family premiums for full time employees
  • The full-time employee will pay for the difference when the selected plan’s premium exceeds the composite rate. For part-time employees, the District’s share of premiums will be a prorated amount of the composite rate.
  • For employees who pay a portion of the benefit premium, the employee share is taken with pre‐tax dollars.

Delta Dental  The District will contribute 100% of the composite rate per month for a full-time employee. For part-time employees, the District’s share of premiums will be a prorated amount of the composite rate.

 

Vision (VSP) The District will contribute 100% of the employee only rate per month for a full-time employee. For part-time employees, the District’s share of premiums will be a prorated. An employee may obtain this vision coverage for eligible dependents at the employee’s expense.
